GitLab, the most comprehensive AI-powered DevSecOps platform, has officially launched the general availability of GitLab Duo with Amazon Q, now offered as a bundled solution for GitLab Ultimate self-managed customers on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The new integration embeds Amazon Q’s software development agents directly into GitLab’s DevSecOps platform, enabling development teams to accelerate complex, multi-step tasks across the software development lifecycle, minimize tool switching, and boost overall productivity. By combining the advanced capabilities of Amazon Q Developer with GitLab Duo features-such as code completion and explanation, chat, vulnerability explanation and remediation, and root cause analysis-the solution is designed to address key development bottlenecks.
