The Citrix company, which is a part of Cloud Software Group, has launched its latest offering known as NetScaler AI Gateway. This is an addition to the company’s NetScaler platform, which aims to bring enterprise-level management and security to AI applications. Through this product, enterprises will be able to control and manage the increasing complexity of deploying LLMs in a more streamlined manner, by offering a unified control plane, which can integrate within the existing enterprise architecture without needing any other point solutions. It will provide a holistic approach for managing AI workloads on top of the platform’s already strong offerings around application delivery, observability, and security for other mission-critical applications. Furthermore, it offers several new features specific to AI use cases, including rate limiting through token-based limits, token-aware load balancing, and routing.

Moreover, the gateway comes with prompt management and redaction features for ensuring security of sensitive data, along with integration with advanced AI security solutions such as LLM firewalls and AI-based data protection tools to identify and remove any private or sensitive information prior to it reaching the AI workflow. In addition, the press release showcases that the gateway integrates Citrix’s AI-based assistant, which is a clear indication that the product has already reached its production stage and is prepared for protecting AI initiatives on the ground level. With all the governance, cost management, and security requirements addressed by a single tool, Citrix appears ready to take its users one step further toward embracing the use of AI in the enterprise space.
