Perficient, Inc., the leading global digital consultancy transforming the world’s largest companies and brands, announced the global launch of Scarlett, a proprietary AI-powered chatbot designed to drive productivity, increase operational efficiency and transform the overall experience of Perficient’s employees.
Perficient’s AI experts created Scarlett to be an intelligent personal agent that helps Perficient employees be more efficient in their daily tasks by answering questions, connecting them with internal resources, offering translation services, sending timely reminders, and much more.
Perficient first introduced Scarlett to the team in Latin America and the United States. With today’s global launch, Scarlett is now available to nearly 7,000 Perficient employees worldwide.

Guided by Perficient’s AI Policy and its AI Steering Committee, Perficient designed Scarlett to increase employee productivity while mitigating security, privacy, and compliance risks. Scarlett uses a variety of resources to formulate responses to peer prompts, including a pre-built logic function, a custom knowledge base, the Perficient Academy learning center, and the latest Microsoft Azure and OpenAI technologies.

Scarlett is the latest resource introduced by Perficient that leverages generative AI. Since 2023, Perficient’s Generative AI Innovation Group has been driving innovation around generative AI tools and capabilities for both its employees and customers. Additionally, Perficient’s Generative AI Innovation Lab, a subset of Innovation Group leaders working in global combined scrum teams, has developed 18 use cases so far this year, including an accelerator for conversational mobile apps that create engaging, personalized chat experiences across platforms for customers. Additionally, Perficient’s Generative AI Innovation Lab has streamlined and automated internal Perficient processes including job description generation, RFPs, and sales and marketing support.
