Vertiv Bolsters AI-Ready Infrastructure with Strategic Acquisition of ThermoKey

Vertiv, one of the global leaders in the digital infrastructure and business continuity solutions industry, has revealed that it has signed a binding agreement to buy ThermoKey S. p. A. Vertiv is increasing its product portfolio in the domain of thermal management mainly for meeting the growing requirement of heat rejection in the new AI factories and highly dense data centers.

ThermoKey, based out of Italy, is a renowned company in the space of heat exchange technology. Vertiv is looking to acquire ThermoKey to integrate their advanced dry cooler and microchannel-based solutions with their existing product offerings, to provide customers with a more comprehensive solution in the space of thermal management.

With the expected completion of the proposed transaction, Vertiv is poised to speed its journey towards a future of converged physical infrastructure. With the acquisition of ThermoKey’s in-house design and manufacturing expertise, Vertiv will be able to deliver integrated system-level thermal architectures that provide long-term scalability across multiple hardware generations.
