As industrial sectors navigate ongoing labor shortages and volatile supply chain dynamics, global manufacturers are under intense pressure to maximize operational uptime using fewer resources. Addressing this challenge, Dataiku, the Platform for AI Success, has introduced its new Manufacturing AI Blueprint: the Maintenance Scheduling Assistant. Developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, the solution is engineered to modernize traditional, fragmented, and manual maintenance planning workflows.
The newly launched blueprint combines Dataiku’s governed enterprise AI platform with NVIDIA’s advanced AI infrastructure. It integrates the recently unveiled NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super open model to provide industrial teams with a highly coordinated, intelligent system for scheduling maintenance. The architecture leverages NVIDIA’s high-performance (NVFP4) precision format, enabling factories to rapidly process vast quantities of operational data and deliver reliable maintenance recommendations without compromising real-time system performance.
Engineered specifically for heavy-duty industrial environments, the Dataiku Manufacturing AI Blueprint has been validated on NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition and NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. This validation ensures that the hardware delivers the necessary processing power and efficiency required to sustain sophisticated AI workloads reliably at an enterprise scale.
“Manufacturing is entering a phase where operational resilience is becoming a competitive advantage,” said Todd Hallett, SVP of GTM Strategy at Dataiku. “The question isn’t whether AI can predict failures it’s whether organizations can operationalize that intelligence in a way that’s trusted, scalable, and embedded into daily decision-making. This blueprint, powered by NVIDIA, helps manufacturers move beyond isolated automation toward AI systems that can reason through complex operational trade-offs and support better decisions in everyday operations, laying the foundation for a new class of AI reasoning systems.”

The platform features an intuitive natural language interface, allowing maintenance supervisors to request optimized schedules that dynamically align with real-time floor conditions and shifting corporate priorities. In this way, the system combines real-time live operation signals and production constraints together to replace inflexible spreadsheets with more adaptive priorities plans. The intelligent assistant is able to strike the balance between the equipment condition, labor resources, and production planning schedule in a smooth manner, without manual intervention.
These benefits translate into practical business value in the form of reduced unplanned down time, faster scheduling cycle times, and increased harmony between maintenance staff and production lines.
Furthermore, the framework operates inside a strictly controlled enterprise AI environment. By pairing NVIDIA’s high-performance AI hardware and software suite with Dataiku’s centralized governance framework, industrial organizations can scale predictive capabilities safely while maintaining full operational visibility.
The solution forms part of a wider industry transition toward data-driven reasoning systems, where automation is deeply informed by data models and unique business contexts. Dubbed the Dataiku Reasoning System for Manufacturing Operations, the framework enables enterprises to centralize institutional knowledge directly into daily workflows, bridging data, models, and human expertise across resource planning and maintenance sectors.
This core architecture expands upon the capabilities of the Maintenance Scheduling Assistant Blueprint, permitting operations to integrate and manage these advanced AI models across multiple production cells and global manufacturing facilities.
“AI is improving uptime and scaling efficiency across complex manufacturing pipelines,” said Jason Schroedl, Director, Product Marketing – Enterprise Platforms, NVIDIA. “Dataiku‘s integration of NVIDIA AI software, Nemotron open models, and RTX PRO Blackwell Server Edition GPUs provides manufacturers with performance and reliability for deploying intelligent maintenance systems at scale.”
