Informatica has rolled out significant updates to its Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), reinforcing its position at the forefront of enterprise data management. The latest release introduces a comprehensive suite of AI-powered capabilities aimed at streamlining data access, improving governance, and enabling enterprises to harness AI-ready data at scale.

The update delivers new advancements across key domains including data integration, governance, quality, master data management (MDM), and Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS). These features are designed to help organizations simplify the complexities of data environments while unlocking the full potential of AI applications.

“AI and digital transformation are imperative to business growth, but these efforts are only as strong as the data behind them. Whether it’s building a report or utilizing the most advanced Generative AI model, access to trusted data is critical to ensure accurate and reliable outcomes,” said Kelle Fontenot, Chief Digital Officer at KPMG.

Master Data Management (MDM):

The latest MDM enhancements focus on accelerating data enrichment and governance. The newly introduced CLAIRE® Match Analysis and Explainability delivers transparent record-matching capabilities along with self-service tuning options. The Enrichment and Validation Orchestrator leverages AI to automate the transformation of raw data into reliable assets, drawing from both Informatica and third-party data services. Additionally, the Data Catalog Scanner for MDM strengthens data lineage mapping and compliance, offering a unified and trusted view for AI and analytics readiness.

Data Integration Enhancements:

Building on its AI-first approach, Informatica has expanded its CLAIRE® Copilot for Data Integration, initially announced at Informatica World 2025. This release introduces interactive Q&A support to guide users via natural language queries. The platform also extends connectivity to Delta tables in Microsoft Fabric, Apache Iceberg, and log-based CDC for SAP HANA, optimizing interoperability across modern data ecosystems.

iPaaS Improvements:

Informatica’s latest iPaaS upgrades enhance flexibility and real-time integration with emerging AI tools. Key features include support for Model Context Protocol (MCP) Servers, allowing AI agents and LLMs to tap directly into IDMC assets. The release also introduces new GenAI connectors for NVIDIA NIM, Databricks Mosaic AI, and Snowflake Cortex AI. Users can now access a Recipe Marketplace, offering reusable workflow templates that support diverse automation and GenAI use cases.

Enhanced Data Governance and Quality:

With growing enterprise focus on responsible AI, Informatica has added robust governance tools. The AI Governance Inventory & Workflows enables model tracking, approval workflows, and custom evaluation metrics for enterprise-wide compliance. New Data Quality Rules as API allow real-time trust validation via REST APIs, while AI-Powered Lineage Discovery automatically maps data flows, accelerating deployments and insights.

“Our customers are crystal clear about what they need to scale their AI ambitions – trusted data, simplified governance and seamless integration across platforms. With the Summer 2025 release of IDMC, we’re delivering exactly that. From enhanced master data management and real-time data quality APIs to elastic orchestration and expanded GenAI integrations, these innovations provide organizations the trusted data foundation they need to move faster and build confidently with AI,” said Krish Vitaldevara, Chief Product Officer at Informatica.

These new capabilities underscore Informatica’s commitment to helping enterprises operationalize AI through trusted, well-governed, and easily accessible data across the organization.
