Tenstorrent and Infinia Technologies Forge Strategic Partnership to Pioneer Sovereign AI Infrastructure in the GCC

Related stories

Tenstorrent, the world’s #1 supplier of high performance AI compute chips, has entered into a strategic relationship with Infinia Technologies Limited to jointly develop and offer a sovereign AI infrastructure platform line. This partnership is based in Abu Dhabi and designed to meet demands of governments, financial institutions, and essential infrastructure firms in the Gulf Cooperative Council countries.

A deal of partnership was signed by Jim Keller, CEO of Tenstorrent and Arif Khan, CEO of Infinia, at an event taking place in Abu Dhabi Finance Week on 9 th December 2025. Infinia, subsidiary of Sirius International Holding operates as a major participant in IHC, one of the biggest investment groups in Abu Dhabi.

Driving National AI Autonomy

This partenariat seeks to position Abu Dhabi as a world leader in creating sovereign AI, data and Web3. 0 services. The emphasis on local infrastructure allows sensitive data and services to be maintained indegenuously.

Central to this initiative is the go-to-market strategy for the SAIF Agentic AI Platform. Powered by Tenstorrent’s next-generation silicon, SAIF is engineered to deliver high-performance AI capabilities that remain strictly within agreed national boundaries. The platform offers a turnkey, Tensix-based agentic appliance characterized by enterprise-grade security, predictable total cost of ownership (TCO), and an accelerated timeline to value.
Advanced Security and “Secure AI in a Box”

To address the specific requirements of organizations handling sensitive workloads on-premises, the partners are developing “Secure AI in a Box” solutions. These systems integrate hardware and operational guardrails within a sealed physical environment, allowing enterprises to run advanced AI models on proprietary data while maintaining exclusive control over encryption and key management.

Expanding into Web3.0 and Financial Markets

A third pillar of the collaboration focuses on a Web3.0 accelerator designed to provide “Proof as a Service.” This layer is built to comply with UAE sovereignty requirements while supporting decentralized service models. By extending sovereign AI into regulated financial and capital markets, the partnership ensures mandatory auditability and local control for high-stakes institutional use cases.

“Sovereign AI is about owning your compute destiny, not renting it,” said Jim Keller, CEO of Tenstorrent. “With Infinia and the wider IHC ecosystem, we can combine open architectures, RISC-V based CPUs, and agentic AI platforms to give governments and enterprises the option to run critical AI systems entirely on infrastructure they control, inside their own borders.”

Arif Khan, CEO of Infinia Technologies, said: “Abu Dhabi is moving fast to build real sovereign AI capacity, not just proofs of concept. Partnering with Tenstorrent lets us bring agentic AI, secure on-prem solutions, and compliant Web3.0 infrastructure to market together, with a clear path from pilots to scaled national platforms.”

Global Context and Expansion

This collaboration further bolsters the increasing presence of Tenstorrent in sovereign computing. This collaboration is one of many that Tenstorrent has entered into recently in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East with a view to nurturing AI infrastructure within the respective countries.
