Tata Consultancy Services and AMD announce a strategic partnership for enabling enterprises to adopt and scale their artificial intelligence initiatives from a proof-of-concept stage to widespread production deployments. The partnership will address the task of modernization of legacy infrastructure and enable enterprises to develop a secure and performing digital workspace.
The partnership will combine TCS’s deep domain expertise, systems integration capabilities, and global innovation ecosystem with AMD’s industry-leading high-performance computing and AI portfolio. Together, the companies plan to co-develop industry-specific AI and generative AI (GenAI) solutions, designed to support transformation journeys across cloud-to-edge workloads and elevate enterprise performance at scale.

As part of their collaboration, TCS will rapidly upskill and certify its workforce on AMD’s latest hardware and software technologies. Both organizations also intend to invest jointly in talent development, establishing a robust pool of experts who can co-innovate future-ready AI solutions. Specialized GenAI frameworks are planned for key verticals including life sciences (drug discovery), manufacturing (cognitive quality engineering and smart manufacturing), and BFSI (intelligent risk management). Furthermore, the collaboration will deliver tailored accelerators, frameworks, and proven best practices to optimize AI performance for both training and inference workloads.

Powering Transformation with AMD Technology
As part of the pact, TCS would integrate Ryzen™ CPU-powered client solutions to catalyze office transformations, in addition to using the capabilities of AMD EPYC™ CPU solutions, AMD Instinct™ GPUs, as well as Artificial Intelligence accelerators to transform Hybrid Clouds and High-Performance Computing infrastructures. On the other hand, the Embedded Computing solutions of the AMD business – comprising Adaptive System on Chips and FPGAs – would allow clients to accelerate Edge innovation and improve inference capabilities, among other industrial digitalization pursuits.
The deep expertise that TCS has in designing customized solutions leveraging leading semiconductor technology will further add to AMD’s next-generation compute solutions and create a strong foundation for future innovation.
