CoreWeave, the AI Hyperscaler™, has announced its plans to deliver one of the first NVIDIA GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchip-enabled AI supercomputers to IBM. This cutting-edge system, equipped with NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 systems and interconnected via NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand networking, marks a significant step in AI innovation. IBM will harness CoreWeave’s high-performance, reliable, and resilient cloud platform to train the next generation of Granite models. These enterprise-ready, open-source AI models offer state-of-the-art performance relative to model size while prioritizing safety, speed, and cost-efficiency for enterprise applications.

This groundbreaking supercomputer will integrate IBM Storage Scale System with NVMe flash technology, delivering unparalleled storage performance tailored for AI, data analytics, and other demanding workloads. Additionally, CoreWeave customers will gain access to IBM’s Storage platform within CoreWeave’s dedicated environments and AI cloud platform, enhancing the versatility and scalability of their AI initiatives.
