Oracle and Google Cloud have deepened their strategic collaboration to provide enterprises with access to Google’s most advanced AI models through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Generative AI service. The partnership begins with the introduction of Gemini 2.5, enabling Oracle customers to build AI-driven solutions for diverse use cases such as multimodal understanding, advanced software development, workflow automation, and knowledge retrieval.
As part of the expanded partnership, Oracle will integrate Google Cloud’s full portfolio of Gemini models into OCI Generative AI via Vertex AI. This includes advanced capabilities across video, image, speech, and music generation, along with specialized industry-focused models such as MedLM for healthcare. Looking ahead, Oracle and Google Cloud plan to make Gemini models available through Vertex AI as an integrated option within Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, empowering enterprises to enhance critical business functions spanning finance, HR, supply chain, sales, service, and marketing. Customers will also have the flexibility to leverage Gemini models using their existing Oracle Universal Credits.
“Today, leading enterprises are using Gemini to power AI agents across a range of use cases and industries,” said Thomas Kurian, CEO, Google Cloud. “Now, Oracle customers can access our leading models from within their Oracle environments, making it even easier for them to begin deploying powerful AI agents that can support developers, streamline data integration tasks, and much more.”

Gemini models are designed for enterprise-grade performance, offering advantages such as large context windows, integration with real-time Google Search data for accuracy, strong encryption, robust data privacy safeguards, and advanced reasoning capabilities.
“Oracle has been intentional in offering model choice curated for the enterprise, spanning open and proprietary models,” said Clay Magouyrk, president, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. “The availability of Gemini on OCI Generative AI service highlights our focus on delivering powerful, secure, and cost-effective AI solutions that help customers drive innovation and achieve their business goals.”
With this collaboration, Oracle continues to bring cutting-edge AI capabilities closer to enterprise data, emphasizing security, flexibility, and scalability. Thousands of AI innovators are already using OCI’s cost-efficient, purpose-built AI infrastructure to run high-performance workloads including generative AI, natural language processing, computer vision, and recommendation engines at scale. OCI’s bare metal GPU instances further accelerate these demanding applications, enabling enterprises to adopt generative and agentic AI technologies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
