Industry leaders including Google Cloud, Salesforce, and TIBCO embed CData connectors to power their product’s connectivity

CData Software, a recognized leader in data connectivity solutions, has reported substantial growth in its embedded connectivity business over the past year. As demand intensifies among software providers for seamless integration with a broadening range of data sources, CData has experienced heightened interest from companies seeking to embed robust connectivity capabilities directly into their platforms. This surge aligns with an industry-wide push toward delivering AI-ready data and empowering end users with fast, self-service access to critical information.

Responding to this growing need, CData has expanded its offerings with the introduction of CData Embedded Cloud—a cloud-native data connectivity service tailored specifically for small- to midsize software companies. The new platform enables software providers to enhance their data integration capabilities without the burden of developing or maintaining custom connectors.

“Software providers aren’t just asking for connectivity—they’re being evaluated on it, and this has accelerated demand for our embedded connectivity solutions,” said Amit Sharma, Founder and CEO, CData. “As AI moves from experimentation to execution, product teams need immediate, scalable access to data across their users’ most critical systems. That’s where CData shines. Our continued investment in API-rich, reliable connectivity has fueled strong momentum and positioned us as the go-to embedded solution for modern software companies.”

Unlocking Seamless Data Access with CData Embedded Cloud

With CData Embedded Cloud, software vendors can offer built-in access to over 160 of CData’s pre-built connectors, supporting a wide range of SaaS platforms, databases, and cloud-based data sources. The service handles backend complexities—including API updates, security enhancements, credential management, and performance optimization—allowing developers to focus on product innovation while ensuring a smooth end-user experience.

“In less than two weeks, with only one developer, we had 160+ CData connectors up and running. CData Embedded Cloud just works,” said Sami Hero, CEO of Ellie.ai.

Continued Expansion of the Embedded Connectivity Portfolio

Beyond the launch of Embedded Cloud, CData remains committed to advancing its extensive library of over 300 connectors. In the past year, the company has rolled out several high-value additions, including connectors for Okta and PingOne to support identity and access analytics, as well as a Salesforce Data Cloud connector to enable real-time customer data unification.

Ongoing updates across the connector portfolio include expanded API support, performance enhancements, and advanced functionality, underscoring CData’s dedication to providing scalable, enterprise-grade connectivity for today’s dynamic data environments.
