TeamViewer debuts AI tool for IT support workflows

TeamViewer, a global leader in digital workplace solutions, has announced the rollout of TeamViewer Intelligence—a comprehensive suite of AI-powered tools engineered to streamline IT support through real-time automation, actionable insights, and enhanced in-session assistance.

Building on its latest innovation, TeamViewer CoPilot, and existing functionalities such as Session Insights and Analytics, the new AI suite is purpose-built to help IT teams reduce manual workloads, accelerate problem resolution, and efficiently manage support operations across both centralized service desks and distributed endpoints.

“With TeamViewer Intelligence, we’re embedding AI directly into support workflows, so teams don’t need to switch tools or break focus to get help,” said Mei Dent, Chief Product & Technology Officer at TeamViewer. “Whether it’s resolving a ticket or managing large-scale IT environments, we’re enabling faster decisions and more scalable operations through intelligent assistance.”

At the core of this innovation is TeamViewer CoPilot—an AI-powered contextual assistant integrated into live remote support sessions. IT professionals can interact with it in real-time to access device diagnostics, generate step-by-step resolution workflows, and automate routine actions like opening Task Manager or retrieving system logs—all without disrupting their active session. For high-volume support environments, CoPilot turns repetitive troubleshooting into streamlined, scalable processes.

Complementing CoPilot, Session Insights & Analytics provides IT leaders with a data-rich overview of support activities. Every session is automatically summarized, complete with intelligent tags and detailed, step-by-step resolution logs—enhancing team collaboration, accelerating handovers, and ensuring consistent knowledge sharing. Interactive dashboards deliver visibility into key performance indicators such as session volume, resolution speed, common issues, and workload distribution, empowering teams to proactively improve service quality and operational efficiency.

These AI-driven features are available as add-ons for TeamViewer Corporate and Tensor license holders and are seamlessly integrated into the platform’s latest user interface.

TeamViewer is also extending its AI capabilities beyond traditional IT environments. For field service professionals and deskless teams, Assist AR now includes an AI-generated session summary that automatically transcribes and captures the key points of remote video support calls. This feature supports quick documentation and regulatory compliance, all without disrupting on-the-job tasks.
