LTM, a global technology services company and Larsen & Toubro Group subsidiary, has announced a strategic collaboration with IBM and Red Hat around Lightwell. The joint initiative aims to help global enterprises protect their open-source software supply chains by shifting the operational focus from mere vulnerability detection to AI-driven, automated remediation.
With increasing speed at which AI is helping organizations detect code and software vulnerability issues, today’s businesses are dealing with too much risk exposure. This calls for a change from cybersecurity methods that were simply limited to scanning and reporting. Lightwell solves this problem by offering enterprise-grade, vetted patches for production environments so that organizations can handle software threats quickly without compromising their system uptime and stability.
As part of its ongoing collaboration as a Platinum Partner of IBM, LTM will offer full integration services for Lightwell for all open-source dependencies. In addition to this, the organization intends to offer a specialized set of products ranging from risk prioritization to deep dependency mapping and DevSecOps workflows integration, governance of remediation program, testing, and execution.
