HPE Expands GreenLake and HPE Morpheus Software to Deliver Unified Agentic IT Operations

Related stories

As part of HPE Discover Las Vegas 2026, Hewlett Packard Enterprise made announcements of extended functionalities within the HPE GreenLake cloud offerings aimed at enabling unified operations for the agentic enterprise. The new release comes with novel structures within the realms of agentic AIOps, private cloud, and AI-infrastructure software. Through the HPE GreenLake services, customers benefit from an integrated approach geared towards mitigating the uncertainties of costly virtualization, updating the infrastructure for future AI workloads, and managing hybrid clouds with ease.

The expansion features notable milestones, including:

  • HPE Morpheus Software now provides comprehensive virtualization for the agentic enterprise, combining a new agentic orchestration framework and a unified control plane optimized for both advanced AI and traditional enterprise workloads.
  • GreenLake Intelligence advances agentic AIOps for hybrid IT environments, granting organizations the tools required to observe, manage, and govern distributed AI factories, autonomous agents, and underlying data workloads.
  • Integration with ServiceNow: HPE will partner with ServiceNow to enable real-time full-stack infrastructure insight for complete automation of AI-powered IT services through GreenLake Intelligence.
  • HPE’s Partnership with Citrix: The alliance between Citrix and HPE will be further strengthened through offering Citrix Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) based on HPE GreenLake software by HPE Morpheus.

Bridging the Operational Gap to Autonomous IT

As enterprises deploy autonomous AI agents across their operations, traditional IT management frameworks are proving insufficient. Modern agentic architectures demand infrastructure capable of self-correcting and orchestrating complex tasks without manual intervention. By integrating GreenLake Intelligence specifically through the OpsRamp Operations Copilot with ServiceNow’s autonomous AI workforce, HPE and ServiceNow are establishing a cohesive, single source of truth for agentic IT operations. This combined ecosystem spans from full-stack observability of bare-metal AI hardware to end-to-end automated service delivery workflows.

Concurrently, HPE Morpheus Software has emerged as a robust, enterprise-grade alternative to traditional virtualization platforms. The software successfully merges self-service provisioning with integrated cloud observability and operations capabilities natively engineered for complex hybrid cloud environments.

Streamlining Infrastructure with Agentic Automation

In order to address the challenges that come from having to manually configure the infrastructure and the use of multiple tools for the process, Hewlett Packard Enterprise launched the HPE Morpheus Orchestration Copilot. As part of the GreenLake Intelligence offering, the assistant makes use of agentic reasoning to enable the automation of end-to-end infrastructure and workload provisioning. The BYOM architecture enables enterprises with limited resources to deploy preferred AI tooling.

Additional enterprise management features introduced to the ecosystem include:

  • HPE Morpheus Central: This is a managed service under HPE GreenLake that helps you manage, monitor, and govern multi-cluster HPE Morpheus setups from a single pane of glass.
  • Software Defined Network (SDN): This solution has been rolled out for HPE Morpheus and has features like native multi-tenancy, VXLAN overlay networking, consistent policy enforcement, and zero trust security. Some early impressions of the SDN show that it can reduce the time taken for network setup by as much as 60%.

Deepening the Citrix Private Cloud Partnership

Citrix (Cloud Software Group company) and HPE have decided to extend their virtualization partnership by jointly developing products designed to facilitate Citrix Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) on HPE GreenLake platform. Designed specifically for tightly controlled on-premises or sovereign deployments, this solution provides the benefits of a cloud environment to organizations within highly regulated industries.

As part of an extended product roadmap, both Citrix DaaS and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops are now seamlessly embedded within HPE Morpheus Software (VM Essentials) – providing the required virtualization foundation. At the same time, the HPE CloudOps Software ensures consistent management, automation, and observability across Citrix hybrid solutions.
