Veeam Software, a leader in data resilience, has announced its plan to acquire Securiti AI. Securiti AI stands out for its innovations in Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and AI-driven data privacy tools. The move helps organizations tap into the full potential of their data. It also ensures strong security and compliance as AI becomes more common.

Revolutionizing Data Management for the AI Age

The pairing of Securiti AI’s enhanced capabilities with Veeam’s data resilience platform of trust will give businesses a single command center to control, protect, and govern their entire data estate. This unification meets the intricacies of disparate data across apps, clouds, SaaS applications, endpoints, and backups, presenting a complete solution for data challenges of today.

The integrated platform will allow organizations to:

  • Gain End-to-End Data Visibility: Leverage an integrated, efficient data command graph to comprehend data in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Secure Strong Data Security and Compliance: Deploy DSPM features, data governance, access control, and privacy precautions to protect sensitive data.
  • Ensure Smooth Data Recovery and Rollback: Take advantage of industry-leading backup and recovery technology from Veeam to ensure business resilience.
  • Establish AI Trust and Transparency: Leverage Securiti AI’s Gencore AI module to provide secure enterprise AI search while preserving data integrity.

Solving the AI Data Problem

With the current data-driven world, unstructured data like emails, documents, and customer interactions make up 70-90% of enterprise data. Still, organizations struggle to unearth the value of such data because of difficulties in data accuracy, lineage, permissions, identity, and issues related to privacy. Legacy methods with siloed tools for managing and securing data are falling short to meet the complexity of AI threats. The Veeam and Securiti AI integration solves this by having one control plane that brings together data resilience with DSPM, privacy, governance, and AI trust.
