N-able UEM solutions now deliver a single, unified view to identify, prioritize, and report on vulnerabilities across all major operating systems

N-able, Inc., a global software company specializing in unified cyber resiliency solutions, announced the upcoming release of a native Vulnerability Management feature within its Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platforms—N-central and N-sight. Designed to streamline security operations, the integrated functionality enables organizations to detect, prioritize, remediate, and report vulnerabilities across all major operating systems from a single pane of glass.

As the threat landscape becomes increasingly complex, IT professionals and managed service providers (MSPs) are facing a surge in both the volume and sophistication of cyberattacks. In 2025 alone, an average of 133 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) were disclosed daily, highlighting the urgency for proactive vulnerability mitigation. Operating systems and application vulnerabilities are frequent entry points for attackers, making efficient vulnerability management essential. However, traditional approaches often require multiple tools, creating inefficiencies and fragmented workflows.

N-able’s latest enhancement aims to solve this challenge by embedding Vulnerability Management directly into its UEM solutions. This seamless integration empowers IT teams to bolster their cyber resiliency posture without the need for third-party tools or additional platforms.

Key benefits of the new Vulnerability Management feature include:

  • Comprehensive visibility across OS and application vulnerabilities – Security teams gain access to real-time data including CVE details and severity scores, enabling faster, smarter decision-making across Windows, Mac, and Linux endpoints.

  • Unified workflows – Vulnerability detection, prioritization, and remediation can now be managed entirely within the UEM platform, eliminating siloed processes and improving response time.

  • Enhanced efficiency through automation – Teams can leverage built-in remediation workflows such as patch and software management, significantly reducing manual efforts and improving scalability.

These capabilities augment N-able’s existing UEM tools, which already provide continuous device discovery and robust software management functionalities—further minimizing the attack surface and reinforcing endpoint security.

“Our partners are thrilled with our new built-in capabilities to identify vulnerabilities within their applications and operating systems and remediate them, all through the UEM,” said Jim Waggoner, VP of Product Management at N-able. “This feature empowers them to offer enhanced services to their customers and significantly reduce business risk. Insights from the solution preview reveal that our customers had on average, three vulnerable applications per endpoint that can now be efficiently resolved, leading to a more secure and stable environment.”

Looking forward, N-able is set to broaden its security offerings with future expansions into network vulnerability management and cloud vulnerability management. These planned developments aim to give partners a more holistic security framework, enabling them to safeguard a wider scope of their digital ecosystems.
