KnowBe4 has appointed cybersecurity channel veteran Kurt Mills as its new Channel Chief, placing him in charge of the company’s global partner programs, channel operations and partner-led routes to market.

The appointment comes as technology companies increasingly rely on channel ecosystems including resellers, managed service providers, systems integrators and distributors to reach customers and scale cybersecurity services.

Mills brings more than 25 years of experience in channel and partner leadership. Before joining KnowBe4, he held senior channel and partner roles at Trellix, Check Point Software Technologies, Mimecast, FireMon and Blue Coat Systems. His career has included building partner networks and teams during periods of rapid expansion, acquisitions and public-market growth.

At KnowBe4, Mills will oversee the evolution of the company’s global partner strategy and the operational structure supporting its channel ecosystem. His role is expected to focus on areas such as partner programs, enablement and relationships across different types of technology and services partners.

The appointment also follows recent additions to KnowBe4’s channel leadership team. Neill Burton and John Noha have joined as vice presidents of channel, supporting global partner initiatives. The broader leadership expansion signals a stronger focus on how channel organizations can support cybersecurity adoption and customer engagement.

Mills’ move also highlights a broader shift within cybersecurity. As organizations manage increasingly complex threats, channel partners are taking on a larger role in delivering security technologies, services and expertise.

For KnowBe4, bringing an experienced channel executive into the top partner leadership position provides an opportunity to further structure its global partner operations while the cybersecurity market continues to evolve around cloud adoption, AI and increasingly distributed digital workforces.
