Datavault AI has appointed Dr. Barry Childe as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), strengthening its executive leadership as organizations place greater emphasis on securing AI-driven platforms, digital assets and quantum-resistant infrastructure. In his new role, Dr. Childe will lead Datavault AI’s cybersecurity strategy, overseeing the protection of the company’s data valuation, credentialing, tokenization and secure data monetization platforms. His responsibilities include advancing secure infrastructure, strengthening AI security and accelerating the company’s work in quantum-resistant technologies. He joins Datavault AI with more than four decades of experience spanning cybersecurity, high-performance computing, cloud infrastructure, distributed ledger technologies and cryptography. Previously, he co-founded Arqit and held senior technology leadership positions at organizations including HSBC, Barclays Capital, The Royal Bank of Scotland and VMware.
