Cognizant and CrowdStrike Expand Strategic Alliance to Protect the Agentic Enterprise with AI-Driven Cybersecurity

Related stories

Cognizant, one of the largest professional services companies in the world, and CrowdStrike, which was the first company to offer cloud-delivered protection, have  announced a very broad extension of their worldwide strategic partnership. Under this collaboration, CrowdStrike’s leading AI-driven cybersecurity platform Falcon will be embedded with Cognizant’s array of operational and IT transformation services. Through this, they intend to protect “agentic enterprises” – those using autonomous AI agents to run complex business operations – against high-level cyber threats.

With the growth of autonomous workflows, software agents are gradually taking over the handling of sensitive enterprise tasks like data analysis and multi-platform execution. Despite boosting productivity, this trend also increases the enterprise security risk. Their combined offering brings together Cognizant’s strong technical implementation skills and CrowdStrike’s threat intelligence to provide comprehensive security for endpoints, cloud, and data, allowing autonomous workflows to continue without disruption and in compliance.

“The rapid rise of the agentic enterprise is transforming how businesses operate, but it also creates an entirely new class of security challenges as autonomous AI agents interact with critical data and systems,” said Michael S. Cole, Head of Global Cyber Security at Cognizant. “By deepening our alliance with CrowdStrike, we are giving our clients the confidence to embrace autonomous operations. The combination of Cognizant’s deep advisory and managed security services with CrowdStrike’s market-leading Falcon platform provides an unbeatable shield for modern, AI-driven enterprises.”

“To secure the future of business, we must secure the autonomous systems driving it,” said Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike. “CrowdStrike is committed to providing the foundational security infrastructure that allows organizations to innovate safely. By expanding our collaboration with Cognizant, we’re ensuring that enterprises building out agentic workflows are protected by the industry’s gold standard in AI-native cybersecurity, keeping them resilient against sophisticated, multi-stage threats.”

Comprehensive Security for the Next Generation of Business Automation

The expanded alliance focuses on deploying unified, preventative defenses tailored to automated cloud environments:

  • Secure Autonomous Agents: Uses contextual threat detection to monitor communications among autonomous AI agents and enterprise IT infrastructures to prevent any lateral attacks or exfiltration of sensitive information.
  • Concentrated Threat Management: Reduces software complexity by integrating multiple legacy tools into one architecture to provide efficient protection and better visibility into the endpoints and cloud workloads for the security team.
  • Fastened Response Times: Integrates automation with the MDR process to quarantine any compromised vector and maintain enterprise operational continuity.
