Informatica

Informatica, a global leader in AI-powered cloud data management, has announced a significant strategic agreement with Microsoft. This collaboration builds on their longstanding partnership, fostering continued innovation and increased customer adoption of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. The announcement was made during Informatica World, the company’s annual data management and AI conference, held in Las Vegas.

Through this agreement, Informatica and Microsoft aim to deliver integrated, AI-driven solutions by combining Informatica’s Intelligent Data Management Cloud™ platform with essential Microsoft services, such as Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Azure. Available as a SaaS offering on Azure and through the Azure Marketplace, Informatica’s platform empowers businesses to develop a secure, reliable data foundation for advanced analytics and AI-driven business transformations.

“As enterprises increasingly prioritize trusted data to fuel responsible AI, agents and next-generation analytics, Informatica and Microsoft are jointly committed to empowering our customers as they continue on their cloud and AI transformation journey,” said Amit Walia, CEO at Informatica. “This strategic agreement reflects our shared vision to drive customer success through co-innovation, go-to-market alignment and deep-field collaboration, helping organizations securely and efficiently scale AI across their data estate.”

This partnership builds on years of successful collaboration between the two companies, which include integrations with Microsoft Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, and Azure Cosmos DB. The new agreement marks another key milestone in their multi-decade relationship.
