Building on a 92.5% accuracy rate in Text-to-SQL tasks reported in last month’s TPC-DS Benchmark, AtScale’s NQL capabilities are now entering a private preview phase, allowing select enterprises to experience the new functionality. This feature aims to help organizations handle large volumes of data more efficiently by bridging natural language understanding with complex data queries to deliver faster and more accurate insights.

AtScale’s integration of Generative AI with its Semantic Layer not only provides the necessary business context and metadata for semantic understanding of user questions but also enhances accuracy using functions unique to AtScale’s semantic markup language and engine. These capabilities simplify the SQL required from the LLM and conduct additional translation from that simple SQL to more complex SQL statements required by real-world database schemas.
