CES – Quectel Wireless Solutions, a global provider of IoT solutions, showcases its capabilities in intelligent modular technology with intensive computing and edge intelligence applications. . Through Quectel’s high-performance SG865W-WF smart module, industrial application use cases, digital signing, unmanned retail, fleet management and healthcare are showcased through edge intelligence and vision functionality artificial.

The SG865W-WF is the new generation of Quectel Android smart modules with integrated high-performance Kryo 585 octa-core CPU, Adreno 650 GPU, Adreno 995 DPU, Adreno 665 VPU, Hexagon DSP and Spectra 480 ISP. The module supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and 2 × 2 Wi-Fi MIMO technology. A wide set of interfaces such as LCM, camera, touch panel, I2S, PCIe, UART, USB, I2C, SPI, etc. allow the module to serve a wide range of IoT applications, including a next-generation visual inspection system. currently deployed on Quectel’s own automated module production line.

Through the Qualcomm QCS8250 system-on-chip, Quectel SG865W-WF intelligent module, and industrial equipment including a camera, lens, and light, the machine vision solution uses edge computing to provide the real-time analysis needed to identify defective samples, including scratches, dirt and abnormal surface printing on each module, ruling out any defective module during production. By implementing this solution, Quectel has achieved industry-leading accuracy and high-speed defect detection, greatly improving production efficiency and the quality of our products.
