Brunswick Corporation has appointed Aine Denari as its next Chief Executive Officer, marking a leadership transition at the marine manufacturing and technology company. Denari will assume the CEO role on January 1, 2027, succeeding current CEO and Chairman David Foulkes, who will retire at the end of 2026.
Denari currently serves as Executive Vice President and President of Navico Group and as Brunswick’s Chief Technology Officer. She announced the leadership transition on LinkedIn, describing the appointment as a new chapter for her and thanking Foulkes and Brunswick’s board for their support.
She joined Brunswick in 2020 as Executive Vice President and President of Brunswick Boat Group. In 2024, she moved into a dual role leading Navico Group while also serving as Brunswick CTO, expanding her responsibilities across marine technology and enterprise operations.
Denari brings more than 30 years of experience across automotive, mobility, industrial and manufacturing sectors. Her career has included senior leadership positions involving engineering, business operations and technology. At Brunswick, her responsibilities have included technology initiatives and product development involving brands such as Lowrance and Simrad.

The leadership change comes as Brunswick continues to position technology as an important part of its marine business. The company operates more than 60 brands spanning marine propulsion, electronics, parts and accessories, and boat manufacturing. Its portfolio includes Mercury Marine, Simrad, Lowrance, Boston Whaler, Sea Ray, Bayliner, Lund and Harris.
As part of the transition, David Everitt, currently Brunswick’s Lead Independent Director, will become Non-Executive Chairman on January 1, 2027. Denari will also join Brunswick’s Board of Directors.
Denari’s appointment reflects the increasing overlap between technology leadership and broader business strategy in industrial companies. Her move from CTO and business-unit leadership to the CEO role also places technology, engineering and operational experience at the center of Brunswick’s next leadership phase.
