Sharon AI and NVIDIA Ink Six-Year Strategic Collaboration to Deploy 72MW AI Factory in Australia

Related stories

SharonAI Holdings Inc., a premier Australian AI Cloud provider, has officially entered into a six-year AI infrastructure compute collaboration with NVIDIA.

The strategic agreement significantly scales Sharon AI’s high-performance computing capabilities. The company’s total AI factory capacity has expanded to 132MW, with 102MW already contracted to end customers. Looking ahead, Sharon AI projects that its total deployment will exceed 55,000 NVIDIA GPUs by mid-2027.

Powering the Next Wave of Sovereign AI Infrastructure

Under the terms of the agreement, NVIDIA and Sharon AI are collaborating to enable 72 megawatts (MW) of new data center capacity in Australia. The companies will deploy NVIDIA’s DSX AI factory design, scaling up to 40,000 Grace Blackwell GB300 GPUs to serve growing demand from AI startups, enterprises, and university researchers.

To ensure both capital efficiency and market accessibility, the initiative utilizes an innovative financial framework. This collaboration is structured so that Sharon AI can commit to large‑scale NVIDIA infrastructure while aligning economics through a revenue‑sharing and credit‑support model. Sharon AI will sell NVIDIA‑powered cloud services, and NVIDIA will earn both standard product revenue and a share of the cloud revenue on the supported capacity.

By utilizing this model, both companies can accelerate the adoption of advanced enterprise AI platforms among organization types that historically lacked access to capital‑intensive AI infrastructure. Simultaneously, it provides Sharon AI with a highly sustainable blueprint for scaling up its operations while generating a recurring, usage-linked revenue stream for NVIDIA.

Executive Insight

Commenting on the landmark agreement, James Manning, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Sharon AI, stated: “This strategic compute collaboration with NVIDIA marks a pivotal moment in Sharon AI’s mission to deliver sovereign, large-scale AI compute infrastructure. Securing access to 72MW of data center capacity enables us to deploy up to an additional 40,000 Grace Blackwell GB300 GPUs, providing access to accelerated compute to enterprise, startup and AI native customers who otherwise may not have been able to access it.”

Strengthening the Regional AI Ecosystem

This expanded compute collaboration builds upon Sharon AI’s established status as a certified NVIDIA Cloud Partner. It further anchors its growing operational footprint within Australian data center facilities. The development cements Sharon AI’s market position as a primary catalyst for DSX AI factories and specialized sovereign AI solutions designed for enterprise clients, government bodies, AI startups, research institutions, and hyperscale users.
