Altera announced expanded momentum in advancing next-generation radio platforms through strategic partnerships, highlighting a collaboration with Broadcom to accelerate 5G deployments, early 6G architectures and emerging non-terrestrial network use cases such as satellite and airborne connectivity. The companies completed interoperability testing between Altera’s Agilex 7 FPGAs and Broadcom’s BroadPeak SoC platform, validating deterministic, high-throughput performance using JESD204C connectivity at 32.44Gbps and supporting dense, power-efficient wideband radio designs for large-scale deployments.
