Ceva, Inc. a leading provider of silicon and software IP for the smart edge has teamed up with Microchip Technology Inc. In a long-term partnership, a leading semiconductor supplier is focused on innovative system-level solutions. Ceva’s NeuPro™ family of Neural Processing Units (NPUs) will be included in Microchip’s compute, communication, and security products. This will speed up the use of scalable artificial intelligence in edge devices and data centers. The integration of Ceva’s NPU IP reflects Microchip’s intent to deliver AI as a native capability across billions of devices, strengthening its leadership in the industrial, data-center, aerospace, automotive, consumer and communications markets.
Under this collaboration, Ceva’s NeuPro™ family of Neural Processing Units (NPUs) will be embedded within Microchip’s portfolio of compute, communication and security products, accelerating the deployment of scalable artificial intelligence across both edge devices and data-center infrastructure. The integration of Ceva’s NPU IP reflects Microchip’s intent to deliver AI as a native capability across billions of devices, strengthening its leadership in the industrial, data-center, aerospace, automotive, consumer and communications markets.

As part of the agreement, Microchip will incorporate Ceva’s NeuPro Studio a unified AI software development kit (SDK) for the NeuPro NPU family into its own SDK offering. This enables Microchip’s customers to train, import, optimize and deploy AI models seamlessly on Microchip-powered systems.
