New capabilities deliver automated crypto risk assessment, cryptographic bill of materials (CBOM)quantum-safe certificate management, and secure code delivery

AppViewX, a trusted provider of automated machine identity management and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions, has announced the launch of its new AVX ONE Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Assessment Tool. Designed to help organizations prepare for the imminent threats posed by quantum computing, the tool offers a comprehensive Cryptographic Bill of Materials (CBOM) and a PQC readiness score.

By scanning enterprise codebases, software dependencies, system configurations, and digital certificates, the PQC Assessment Tool gives security and DevOps teams a detailed inventory of cryptographic assets. It highlights non-compliant algorithms and potential vulnerabilities, offering a clear path to post-quantum security compliance. The launch is part of a broader rollout of quantum-ready capabilities in the AppViewX AVX ONE platform—including PKI-as-a-Service (PKIaaS) for issuing quantum-safe certificates, automated certificate lifecycle management (CLM) for crypto-agility, and secure code signing for safeguarding software integrity.

AppViewX will showcase AVX ONE’s new PQC capabilities at the RSA Conference, taking place April 28 – May 1 at booth #4608 in San Francisco.

With the rapid advancement of quantum computing, traditional encryption methods are increasingly at risk. AppViewX’s latest enhancements are built to empower organizations to embed quantum-safe practices across multi-cloud environments and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)—helping DevOps and SecOps teams gain the visibility, automation, and control they need to stay ahead of quantum-era threats.

“With NIST having approved the first set of PQC encryption algorithms and established an aggressive timeline for transitioning away from legacy encryption algorithms by 2030, now is the time to start accelerating PQC readiness projects,” said Dino DiMarino, CEO of AVX. “Our capabilities and solutions allow DevOps and SecOps teams to rapidly assess their PQC readiness, embed quantum-safe cryptography practices and mitigate vulnerabilities and risk with the automation, visibility, and control, which are the foundation for enterprise crypto-agility.”

Key Benefits of AVX ONE for DevOps and Security Teams

AppViewX’s PQC solutions are aligned with directives from NIST, the NSA, and other global cybersecurity authorities, which urge early adoption of quantum-resilient architectures. AVX ONE offers enterprises a strategic approach to meet the 2030 post-quantum compliance deadline while minimizing risk and cost.

AVX ONE PQC-Ready Assessment Tool

This standalone or CI/CD-integrated tool scans code, dependencies, configurations, and certificates to produce a CBOM (in CycloneDX or CSV format) and a PQC readiness score. It identifies cryptographic weaknesses, providing a roadmap to quantum-safe cryptography.

AVX ONE CLM for Crypto-Agility

Supporting seamless certificate discovery, policy enforcement, and automation of provisioning and renewal workflows, AVX ONE CLM enables rapid adoption of PQC algorithms. It strengthens security posture across hybrid, multi-cloud, and containerized environments.

AVX ONE Quantum-Ready PKIaaS

Enhanced to support issuing PQC-ready certificates based on FIPS 203, FIPS 204, FIPS 205, and soon FIPS 206 (FALCON), this modernized PKIaaS empowers organizations to secure machine identities and critical applications against emerging quantum threats.

AVX ONE Secure Code Signing

Designed for high-integrity software delivery, AVX ONE Code Signing integrates with native tools and CI/CD workflows, securing the software supply chain. Private keys are protected using FIPS 140-2 certified hardware security modules (HSMs), ensuring compliance with CA/Browser Forum standards.
