Notable industry innovator will accelerate vertically focused enterprise AI solutions to extend product leadership and execute aggressive growth strategy

SymphonyAI, a leader in predictive and generative enterprise AI SaaS, announced that Pushpraj (Raj) Shukla has been appointed as CTO. Formerly SymphonyAI’s SVP engineering and head of AI and ML, Shukla will lead the technology roadmap and execution at SymphonyAI and the team that builds the Eureka Gen AI platform, SymphonyAI’s award-winning data and AI platform that supports the rapid design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale, vertical AI applications.

Shukla’s team includes both AI researchers and engineers working on cutting-edge predictive and generative AI models and their application to high-value ‘vertical use cases’ in critical industry sectors. These include retail, CPG, financial crime prevention, manufacturing, media and enterprise IT systems management. His team will also oversee the tooling and enforcement of enterprise security, privacy, and responsible AI policies for SymphonyAI’s offerings.

With almost 20 years of AI/ML engineering and research expertise, Shukla also has extensive AI SaaS experience from engineering roles at Microsoft, where his successful 14-year tenure included leading global AI science and engineering organizations across Azure, Dynamics 365, MSR, and the search and advertising divisions. Shukla helped PowerBI, Power Platform, and Dynamics365 grow into multi-billion dollar businesses and market leaders in their categories and built some of the first generative AI copilots from Microsoft in the enterprise domain.

I look forward to even greater innovation achievements ahead as Raj assumes his new leadership role as CTO, delivering AI solutions that create measurable value for customers solving real-world challenges.”

“I am excited to embark on the next phase of my career at SymphonyAI, and I’m honored to lead a world-class technology team executing our vision of AI innovations that deliver immense value to customers,” said Shukla. “The strong collaboration between the Eureka Gen AI core technology team and our product engineerng counterparts in the vertical R&D teams results in rapid delivery of transformational predictive and generative AI applications and places us in a unique position at the forefront of the enterprise revolution. I’m energized by the opportunity to make powerful contributions at a world-class company at an incredibly exciting time in the industry.”

In 2023, SymphonyAI introduced six AI-based copilots that combine predictive and generative AI to improve work processes in financial services, industrial manufacturing, and retail industries: Sensa Copilot for financial crime investigators; Category Manager Copilot and Demand Planner Copilot for retail/CPG; and the industrial-focused Plant Performance Copilot, Connected Worker Copilot, and Digital Manufacturing Copilot, all built on SymphonyAI’s Eureka generative AI platform and Microsoft Azure. The company also launched an Industrial LLM to support SymphonyAI and third-party applications for industrial monitoring and predictive maintenance.
