NVIDIA and Doosan Group Expand Alliance to Drive Physical AI and AI Factory Infrastructure

NVIDIA and Doosan Group have expanded their collaboration to advance new opportunities across physical AI, robotics, and AI factory infrastructure, spanning Doosan Robotics, Doosan Bobcat, Doosan Enerbility, and Doosan Corporation Electro-Materials BG. This strategic partnership combines NVIDIA’s full-stack accelerated computing platforms, including the NVIDIA DSX AI factory platform and NVIDIA MGX, with Doosan Group’s robust capabilities in industrial automation, power generation, and advanced electronic materials. By integrating NVIDIA’s physical AI technologies and tools like Isaac Sim, Doosan Robotics aims to develop an agentic robot operating system to help collaborative robots better perceive, reason, and act in dynamic industrial environments, evolving from a hardware provider into a full-stack, AI-first robotics solution company.

Concurrently, Doosan Bobcat plans to leverage these technologies to build specialized world models for autonomous construction and agricultural equipment. In light of the significant energy needs required for accelerated computing, Doosan Enerbility and Doosan Fuel Cell will investigate the possibility of combining large-scale power infrastructure consisting of gas turbines, steam turbines, small modular reactors, and hydrogen fuel cells with NVIDIA’s DSX to create dependable, eco-friendly power sources for AI manufacturing facilities. Also, Doosan Corporation’s Electro-Materials Business Group has enabled next-generation AI data centers through the supply of copper-clad laminate, an essential component of high-performance printed circuit boards. Highlighting the mutual strategic value of this industrial-tech integration, Doosan Group Chairman Park Jeong-won stated, “As we enter the AI factory era, this cooperation with Nvidia will be of great help in applying AI to our business areas and seeking business opportunities.”
