In response to an escalating cybersecurity crisis driven by autonomous AI threat actors, agentic offensive security platform Hadrian has secured a $40 million funding round co-led by Forgepoint Capital International and SmartFin, with participation from HV Capital, Motive Partners, Picus Capital, and Oetker Ventures. Bringing the company’s total funding to $65 million, this investment will support Hadrian’s global expansion across EMEA and the U.S. while deepening research into its AI-native platform that combines continuous external attack surface management (Atlas) and on-demand agentic penetration testing (Nova). Founded by ethical hackers Rogier Fischer and Olivier Beg alongside Maurice Clin, Hadrian addresses a market where traditional manual pentesting leaves enterprises vulnerable to machine-speed attacks and overwhelmed by low-precision scanner alerts.

Explaining the imperative behind their platform’s design, Rogier Fischer, CEO of Hadrian, said: “Everyone can see that AI is changing the threat landscape. It might also hold the answer, but most people are focused on automating the wrong bits. We have been working with LLMs since before they went mainstream, and we know that AI can work much faster than any human offensive security team. So we built a platform that emulates hackers’ attack paths, helping our customers to understand their key risks and prioritise their security resources appropriately.” Validated by client adoption from major global brands including McKesson, NBC Universal, and Leroy Merlin, Hadrian enables enterprise security teams to achieve 10x greater visibility into critical risks, an 80% faster resolution time, and a 5x return on investment compared to manual approaches.
