Bubble, the leading AI-powered visual development platform, today launched Bubble for native mobile apps in public beta, enabling users to effortlessly design, build, and publish cross‑platform applications for web, iOS, and Android from a single unified environment. Addressing common pain points—such as disparate development teams, bloated costs, and lengthy timelines—Bubble now allows shared databases, workflows, and UI styles across web and mobile, while offering native device integrations like camera, location, and push notifications. Users benefit from drag‑and‑drop components aligned with iOS and Android design guidelines, along with visual “if this, then that” workflows tailored to mobile triggers and gestures. Co-founder James Devonport praised the platform’s efficiency, saying, “we never thought it would be possible… to launch an app into the iOS and Android app stores… Even with AI helping you, I don’t know if that’s possible without doing it with Bubble”. Various early adopters echo this sentiment: Football Edge launched an app in 1.5 weeks, Wonder Words ported their web storytelling platform within two weeks, and Create With Conference went live in a week, with Devonport adding: “We were able to deliver a professional solution in a timeframe that would have been impossible with traditional development”.

Built on React Native, Bubble mobile apps support one‑click publishing to App Store and Google Play, enterprise‑grade security, over‑the‑air updates, and a shared backend infrastructure. During the beta period—running through October 1—existing users can add mobile support to paid plans at no extra cost, while new users can build for free and publish when subscribed. Upcoming features include in‑app purchases, a mobile plugin editor, and AI‑powered mobile component generation. By combining visual development, AI acceleration, and native mobile functionality, Bubble aims to empower builders at all levels to “build once, ship everywhere,” eliminating technical barriers and accelerating time to market—truly delivering on its promise as a full‑stack, unified AI app development platform.
