The company behind cognitive testing in digital form – BrainCheck – has now rolled out a new solution known as BrainCheck Population Analytics. This is an interesting solution that uses the structured data from electronic health records (EHRs) to assess up to 40 parameters in order to come up with a list of patients who need to be seen by clinicians first. Early implementation at Capital Medical Center in Austin, Texas, demonstrated that health systems can quickly identify vulnerable populations, with Ronnie Castello, Chief Operating Officer, noting, “The analysis gave us a comprehensive view of our patient population and a prioritized patient registry that showed us exactly where to begin.
