Zeal, an AI-powered Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, announced the launch of Anton, an advanced AI contract assistant. Anton represents a significant leap forward in AI-powered contract management, offering comprehensive analysis capabilities beyond basic review. The AI assistant seamlessly integrates contract interpretation, risk assessment, and negotiation support, enabling legal teams to identify potential vulnerabilities, strengthen contract language, and secure more favorable terms.

The news comes amid the CEO Matthew Solé’s latest feature in Forbes discussing the future of legal technology. In his article, Mr. Solé addresses the cultural clash that legal departments face in navigating the current technological evolution. The company aims to align its platform with its vision, providing a single source of truth for contract managers and eliminating the need for multiple tools across the contract lifecycle.

Anton is scheduled for release next week. The company is focusing on integrating technology with legal teams instead of replacing them. This approach aims to tackle the ethical concerns that are currently preventing legal teams from fully adopting new technologies.

“It’s essential to understand how legal professionals in an organization perceive, accept, and use new technologies for successful adoption and effective cultural transformation,” Solé explains. “This process should integrate two key aspects: knowledge management and the human factor. These goals and guidelines must be grounded so leaders can measure their outcomes,” said Mr. Solé.
