Gabby Horn has joined KnowBe4 as Vice President of Sales, taking on a new leadership role as the cybersecurity industry continues to evolve around artificial intelligence, human risk, and increasingly sophisticated social engineering threats.

Horn shared the career update on LinkedIn, describing her move as an exciting new chapter. Her background spans sales and go-to-market leadership, with a focus on building revenue organizations and developing scalable growth strategies.

Her appointment comes at an interesting time for cybersecurity sales organizations. The threat landscape is changing quickly, with attackers increasingly using AI to create more convincing phishing, social engineering, and other targeted attacks. At the same time, organizations are adopting AI internally, creating new security considerations around both employees and autonomous AI systems.

KnowBe4 has expanded its focus beyond traditional security awareness training toward what it describes as digital workforce security, covering both human employees and AI agents. The company says its platform now spans attack simulation and training, email and collaboration security, and agent security.

This broader approach reflects a significant change in the cybersecurity market. Security teams are no longer dealing only with risks associated with human users. AI systems and agents can increasingly access data, interact with applications, and perform tasks, creating another layer of potential security exposure.

KnowBe4 has also been increasing its investment in AI-driven security capabilities. The company says it has developed multiple AI defense agents and is working on technologies designed to address threats including social engineering, prompt injection, and shadow AI.

For sales leadership, this changing environment creates a more complex challenge. Cybersecurity buyers increasingly need to understand not only the technical capabilities of security platforms, but also how those technologies address emerging risks, integrate with existing security programs, and support broader organizational risk management.

Horn’s new position therefore comes as cybersecurity sales becomes increasingly connected to conversations around AI adoption, human behavior, enterprise risk, and digital transformation.

Her experience in sales and go-to-market strategy places her within a sector where customer requirements are changing alongside the threat landscape. As organizations work to secure both people and increasingly autonomous technologies, cybersecurity leaders will need to navigate a market that is becoming broader and more complex.

Horn’s move to KnowBe4 marks the beginning of that next chapter as the company continues operating in an industry being reshaped by AI and evolving cyber threats.
