Fivetran, a global leader in automated data movement, has announced a strategic partnership with S3NS, a Thales subsidiary leveraging Google Cloud technology and fully operated under Thales control. The collaboration comes at a pivotal time as European enterprises face increasing regulatory demands around data sovereignty, compliance, and security while advancing their cloud modernization strategies.

This partnership addresses those challenges by making Fivetran the first data movement solution available within S3NS’s Contrôles Locaux environment, enabling organizations to modernize faster without compromising compliance or control.

Through this collaboration, Fivetran’s platform is now fully accessible in S3NS’s Contrôles Locaux environment, offering deployment flexibility across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. It also integrates seamlessly with S3NS’s External Key Management (EKM) encryption service, providing end-to-end encryption for sensitive workloads. The solution has already been validated in a joint project with a major French insurance company, reinforcing its real-world applicability for regulated enterprises.
Organizations adopting Fivetran gain access to advanced security features, including role-based access control (RBAC), column-level blocking and hashing, extensive compliance certifications, and customizable deployment models. These capabilities ensure data security both in transit and at rest, while allowing businesses to maintain full sovereignty over their infrastructure.
