In a major development announced live on stage at the LEAP tech conference, San Francisco-based AI-native cloud platform Together AI has established a strategic alliance with HUMAIN, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company specializing in end-to-end artificial intelligence services. The partnership connects HUMAIN’s expanding compute infrastructure in Saudi Arabia with international enterprise demand, anchored by plans to construct a massive 250-megawatt data center in the Kingdom.
The joint initiative pairs HUMAIN’s large-scale, multi-chip hardware foundation with Together AI’s inference engine, training tools, and global developer base. The initiative offers enterprises, software creators, and AI-native firms worldwide an accessible, high-performance computing network situated directly within Saudi Arabia.
“The future of artificial intelligence depends on the ability to combine world-class infrastructure with world-class platforms and ecosystems,” said Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN. “This partnership brings together HUMAIN’s infrastructure foundation with Together AI’s leading AI cloud platform and developer ecosystem, creating a powerful environment for innovation, AI adoption, and economic growth. We are strengthening the region’s position as a global hub for AI infrastructure, cloud capabilities, and next-generation AI services.”

Addressing Global Compute Bottlenecks and Strategic Advantage
Considering the issue of access to power supply being one of the factors that hinder the development of AI technology around the globe, Saudi Arabia becomes a good candidate for collaboration due to the availability of power resources and favorable geographic location. Data centers in Saudi Arabia offer low latency connection to important regions of EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). Financial forecasts state that the partnership will bring annual gross revenues exceeding $5 billion per year.
The arrangement aligns with HUMAIN’s ongoing directive to establish a complete AI value ecosystem encompassing physical data centers, advanced hardware, specialized cloud environments, foundation models, and business application layers. By deploying a flexible, multi-chip architectural model, HUMAIN accommodates diverse enterprise computing needs as technological requirements evolve.
Expanding the Open-Source Ecosystem
Together AI brings an extensive developer base and an open-source model suite to the partnership, offering high-throughput inference tools and scalable training capabilities. Operating on Saudi-hosted infrastructure allows international organizations to build, deploy, and scale enterprise applications efficiently.
“Open source is quickly becoming the default way companies build with AI, because they want ownership – of their models, their data, and their intelligence,” said Vipul Ved Prakash, Co-Founder and CEO of Together AI. “We’re thrilled to partner with HUMAIN to unlock tremendous new capacity our customers need. This collaboration brings together what we each do best: HUMAIN‘s expertise in large-scale infrastructure and capital deployment, and Together’s best-in-class AI cloud and technical talent.”
Through the convergence of specialized hardware, platform engineering, and developer accessibility, both organizations seek to accelerate global AI adoption while strengthening the Kingdom’s role in world tech infrastructure.
