Recogni Inc., a leader in Generative AI inference systems, has partnered with DataVolt, a pioneer in sustainable AI-cloud technology, to develop the most energy-efficient AI cloud infrastructure on the planet. Both companies share a vision of delivering scalable, high-performance AI cloud solutions with a strong focus on environmental sustainability. This strategic alliance is set to drive groundbreaking innovation in next-generation AI cloud computing while advancing green infrastructure initiatives.

Recogni’s advanced inference system utilizes proprietary AI logarithmic math executed on purpose-built silicon and networking hardware, establishing new benchmarks for energy efficiency and computational performance. This technology perfectly complements DataVolt’s environmentally optimized, cost-effective AI infrastructure.

Why This Partnership Matters

At the recent U.S.–Saudi Investment Forum, DataVolt made headlines by signing a landmark $20 billion agreement, underscoring its dedication to transforming AI and data center infrastructure. As part of its heterogeneous compute strategy, DataVolt is collaborating with Recogni to incorporate Recogni’s ultra-low-power inference systems into its next-generation AI data centers. Together, they aim to deploy some of the world’s most densely packed and energy-efficient AI compute clusters, strengthening strategic technological ties between the United States and Saudi Arabia.\

Key Highlights of the Agreement

  • Early Access Partnership: DataVolt will initially purchase Recogni’s inference systems for evaluation before full-scale production.

  • Peak Efficiency: Recogni’s custom-designed silicon pairs logarithmic math acceleration with ultra-low power consumption to remove energy bottlenecks, delivering the most cost-effective compute power available today.

  • Cloud Scale Impact: Leveraging DataVolt’s affordable energy and expansive global footprint, this partnership is set to launch a disruptive multi-model AI inference service with no compromise on power or performance.

Looking Ahead

This collaboration blends American silicon innovation with Saudi Arabia’s vast green energy resources, advancing shared objectives around energy security, digital economy growth, and sustainable AI infrastructure.

“With DataVolt we will provide fast and accurate AI that is also economical and energy efficient. This partnership will supercharge AI adoption worldwide,” said Marc Bolitho, CEO of Recogni.

“Democratizing access for the Global South to compute and offering the lowest all-in cost of compute have been DataVolt’s founding philosophy and guiding vision. I am excited about this partnership with Recogni which will give us a decisive edge in performance-per-watt which will make all the difference in democratizing AI,” added Rajit Nanda, CEO of DataVolt.
