Additions of CMO Linda Chen and Other Leadership Appointments to Help Shape the Data Security Leader’s Future Vision and Direction

Fortanix® Inc., a leader in data-first cybersecurity and pioneer of Confidential Computing,  announced the expansion of its executive leadership team to support the company’s continued growth in protecting sensitive and regulated data for upper mid-market and enterprise companies. New appointments include Linda Chen, Chief Marketing Officer; Anuj Jaiswal, Vice President of Products; Iulia Stefoi-Silver, Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Partnerships; and Andy Buckland, Vice President and General Manager, EMEA.

Top global companies and government agencies trust Fortanix’s industry-leading data security platform as traditional perimeter-based approaches to security have proven to be inadequate in preventing data breaches and ransomware attacks. These breaches have caused significant brand damage and regulatory fines to many high-profile companies. With organizations’ important and sensitive data spread across multiple clouds, applications and premises, coupled with the proliferation of privacy regulations, leading companies find it more important than ever to take a data-centric approach with encryption at its core.

“Fortanix has always been focused on securing what is most valuable to enterprises, namely their sensitive data, and has perhaps never been more relevant than in today’s landscape,” said Anand Kashyap, CEO and co-founder of Fortanix. “These additions to our leadership team will be pivotal as Fortanix positions itself for the next phase of growth in the rapidly expanding cybersecurity and compliance space.”

Chen brings over two decades of strategic marketing experience from companies such as GE, Procter & Gamble, and Intuit. Most recently, she was Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer at Cyara, where she oversaw global marketing and corporate strategy and helped complete four acquisitions since 2022. As Fortanix’s Chief Marketing Officer, Chen will oversee marketing strategy and build further on the company’s position in the cybersecurity market.

“Data security and compliance are more vital than ever, and Fortanix is perfectly positioned to help organizations tackle these challenges as they continue to evolve at a rapid pace,” said Chen. “With an impressive foundation built on innovative and industry-leading technology, I’m looking forward to further educating enterprises on how Fortanix can seamlessly power their security and compliance efforts.”

Fortanix Also Adds New Vice Presidents and EMEA VP and General Manager

In addition to Chen, Fortanix also recently named Anuj Jaiswal Vice President of Products, Iulia Stefoi-Silver Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Partnerships, and Andy Buckland Vice President and General Manager of the EMEA region.

Jaiswal is a seasoned product and engineering leader with a highly successful track record, spanning 20 years, in product development at both public companies and dynamic startups. Jaiswal brings extensive domain knowledge, in the areas of cloud security, network security, cybersecurity, data security and application performance monitoring (APM). His expertise lies in creating customer-centric cutting-edge products. Prior to his role as Vice President of Engineering at Embrace.io, Jaiswal had a pivotal role at Arkin, which was acquired by VMware in 2016.

Stefoi-Silver was previously Vice President of Technology Alliances at the data security, privacy, and governance software company BigID. Before BigID, she led ISV partner strategy, and developed partner programs to drive go-to-market activities at Ionic Security (acquired by Twilio). Stefoi-Silver has also previously held product leadership positions at VMware, Airwatch (acquired by VMWare) and Nokia.

Andy Buckland joined Fortanix from VMware, where he most recently worked as Senior Director of the EMEA region for VMware software-defined edge and SASE. Before that, he held positions as UK Sales Director at Nutanix, Northern Europe Sales Director at Citrix, and Global Accounts Sales Director at GXS.
