Compal Electronics has unveiled an expanded collaboration utilizing NVIDIA’s Agent-Ready Rheo Blueprint in Physical AI at COMPUTEX 2026. The announcement highlights a major milestone in transitioning digital intelligence into tangible, real-world operational environments through the company’s proprietary POLYMEDX platform.

Bridging Digital Intelligence and Clinical Operations

Innovation that has been developed to address the needs of next-gen smart healthcare facilities, the POLYMEDX framework integrates robotics, AI orchestration, edge AI, and digital twin simulations in an advanced Physical AI framework. The physical AI platform ensures real-time synchronization within complex logistics, clinical streams, and workflows. With consistent use of AI automation and simulation, the framework improves clinical operational efficiency.

Based on the “Showcase Theme: The Engine for Futurecare. Assisted Healthcare Services Available Round-the-Clock for Everybody” Compal showcased multiple use case demonstrations at the fairground itself. Such demonstrations were aimed at illustrating the features of intelligent orchestration, effective human-robot collaboration, and highly precise tracking of medical instrumentations.

High-Performance Architecture Powered by NVIDIA

The structural core of POLYMEDX relies heavily on the NVIDIA Agent-Ready Rheo Blueprint a highly coordinated sim-to-real developer platform. By integrating NVIDIA Omniverse libraries alongside open frameworks, NVIDIA Isaac ROS’s specialized CUDA-X libraries, and NVIDIA Jetson edge compute hardware, the platform accelerates the entire Physical AI pipeline. This end-to-end framework efficiently manages everything from high-fidelity digital twin simulations and rigorous AI model validation to active robotics orchestration and distributed edge AI deployment across dense hospital environments.

“Future healthcare environments will require scalable Physical AI platforms capable of connecting robotics, AI orchestration, and digital twin technologies into real-world operations,” said Shikuan Chen, Senior Vice President of Compal Electronics. “POLYMEDX reflects Compal’s long-term strategy to build scalable and replicable smart healthcare infrastructure powered by Physical AI.”

Global Expansion Built on Industrial Strengths

Compal intends to further foster collaboration between itself and NVIDIA in relation to the Physical AI and AI robotics ecosystems, with a focus on the fast-paced validation and rollout of these solutions in the top healthcare institutions in Taiwan. Thanks to the high-quality ICT ecosystem, abundant clinical testbeds, and strong AI computing capabilities in Taiwan, POLYMEDX will be well-placed to collect crucial real-world data. This data flywheel will help establish highly standardized smart hospital models optimized for global export.

The scope of Compal’s physical automation journey is much broader than clinical applications alone. In fact, Compal is currently working hard to launch parallel Physical AI programs in various precision-intensive scenarios, from semiconductor factories to smart logistics centers. It does so relying on the core strengths of the group in terms of advanced AI technology, system integration, edge computing, and mass production worldwide.
