Boomi Expands AI and Agentic Enterprise Capabilities at Boomi World 2026

While Boomi announced heavy investments in the expansion of its Boomi Enterprise Platform at the Boomi World 2026 conference, it also launched new innovations to help businesses accelerate their arrival to the “agentic enterprise, ” in which AI agents and human employees will work collaboratively to automate processes. The new innovations are powered by improvements in orchestrated AI workflows, governanced agent connectivity, agent engineering, contextual data activation, and localized infrastructure to scale AI within enterprises securely and affordably. As Boomi, many organizations are still feeling the pain of disjointed systems, unintegrated data, ballooning cloud costs, and governance and compliance concern when leveraging AI. To mitigate those pain points, Boomi is positioning its platform as an “active data foundation” to connect applications, govern AI interactions, and orchestrate workflows across hybrid environments.

“Every enterprise transformation has a platform moment. For agentic AI, that moment is now,” said Ed Macosky, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Boomi. “Customers don’t need more disconnected tools, they need an active data foundation that connects data, orchestrates workflows, and governs AI for people and agents. With these new innovations, we’re extending the Boomi Enterprise Platform to make that foundation a reality.” Some of the most recent developments include the strengthening of AI governance features, MCP support expansion, improved orchestration and connectivity for enterprise applications like Claude, Copilot, and Gemini. Boomi also emphasized its commitment to enable enterprises not just experiment with AI but leverage it at scale through greater management capabilities, oversight and trust. Experts have observed that Boomi is slowly moving away from being an integration platform as a service provider to evolve into a platform that provides comprehensive AI governance and enables data activation. This development comes at a time when enterprises are looking towards creating trustworthy AI platforms that can integrate workflows and data and operationalize AI in complex organizational contexts.
