The 3D Systems Corporation has recently revealed several revolutionary technologies that are expected to promote the transition from prototype production to industrial production using additive technologies, including the unveiling of the newest SLA 825 Dual technology and AddiTrak factory software suite during the RAPID + TCT 2026 conference. The new SLA 825 Dual machine was created as a high-volume stereolithography device designed to have an enhanced build volume by more than 20% and improved printing rate by 25-30%, which enables companies to increase their productivity by manufacturing more items per shift without compromising product quality. Designed for intensive work, the system is suitable for manufacturing components for motor sports vehicles, investment casting patterns, and complex prototypes. In addition to the technology, the company has also unveiled its AddiTrak factory software suite, which allows manufacturers to control the operations of their 3D printing fleet in the manufacturing facility by collecting and analyzing data using custom algorithms executed locally and securely.

This is the overall strategy employed by 3D Systems in ensuring that their customers receive an ecosystem comprised of hardware, software, materials, and applications, as a means of meeting the increasing need for scalability, consistency, and reliability in 3D printing. Moreover, this strategy is in itself a bigger trend in the industry, as additive manufacturing technology is used by firms in different sectors such as aerospace, automotive, medical device manufacturing, and other industrial manufacturing sectors in actually producing end-use parts as opposed to validating them. This is through focusing on throughput, visibility, and process management, which makes it evident that 3D Systems intends to ensure that the benefits of additive manufacturing are reaped regardless of traditional manufacturing practices.Bottom of Form.
