Summit, a US-based managed IT infrastructure provider, announced on now that it has acquired HorizonIQ a provider of high-performance bare-metal and private-cloud platforms rooted in the legacy of Internap and SingleHop in a strategic move backed by Silver Oak Services Partners. This acquisition adds HorizonIQ’s fully automated bare-metal provisioning, nine data centers, and expanded private-cloud capabilities now including support for VMware, Hyper-V, and newly added Proxmox to Summit’s portfolio, significantly enhancing its flexibility for enterprise and mid-market clients.

As a result, Summit already known for cloud, colocation, disaster-recovery, and cybersecurity solutions is positioned to deliver even more scalable, flexible, and performance-driven infrastructure and hosting services to businesses worldwide.
