Planck Network has officially launched what it calls the industry’s first modular Layer-0 blockchain, purpose-built to power AI-native services and decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePINs). The platform is positioned as foundational infrastructure for enabling AI-optimized Layer-1s, rollups, and decentralized applications, eliminating the need for developers to interface with external compute providers.

At the core of the Planck Network is a global GPU compute infrastructure, backed by approximately $40 million worth of AI-dedicated hardware either deployed or committed. This resource pool is designed to offer scalable, decentralized processing power across more than 30 blockchain ecosystems including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Near, and Polkadot providing developers seamless access to compute resources directly within the Web3 environment.

“Planck Network is a full-stack infrastructure layer combining high–performance hardware, modular blockchain architecture, and real–world revenue streams, enabling developers to build decentralized AI applications without reliance on centralized cloud providers,” said CEO Diam Hamstra.

Key Platform Features and Architecture

Modular Layer-0 Core:
The protocol features shared validator infrastructure, interoperable GPU compute, and robust cross-chain messaging via the Planck Network Tunnel, developed in partnership with VIA Labs. With built-in support for USDC payment rails, the platform enables stablecoin interoperability and connectivity across over 30 blockchain networks.

AI-Optimized Layer-1 Chain:
Planck Network’s EVM-compatible Layer-1 is engineered specifically for AI-centric workloads, including training, inference, and fine-tuning of models. It operates on enterprise-grade GPU nodes and does not accommodate standalone token launches or additional Layer-2 rollups, maintaining focus on performance and specialization.

Core Product Suite

  • AI Cloud:
Delivers decentralized access to cutting-edge GPUs such as H100, A100, B200, H200, and RTX 4090. The platform offers competitive pricing up to 90% lower than traditional cloud providers with users able to schedule AI workloads through a GPU Console using USDC or $PLANCK. SLAs and bare-metal compute enhance reliability.

  • AI Studio:
A low-code environment for deploying AI models and automating ML pipelines. Developers can work with both open-source and proprietary models, manage datasets, fine-tune and run inference on-chain, and use customizable orchestration tools all within a decentralized framework.

Tokenomics and Ecosystem Incentives

  • $PLANCK Token: Serves as the primary utility token within the network.

  • GPU Staking: Operators stake $PLANCK to secure workload responsibilities and maintain service uptime.

  • Liquid Staking (LPLANCK): Users are issued a rebasing token offering rewards and enhanced protocol utilities.

  • Delegation Model: LPLANCK holders can delegate to GPU pools, sharing in both emissions and revenue.

  • DAO Governance: LPLANCK holders participate in ecosystem governance, influencing decisions around emissions, staking incentives, and long-term growth strategies.

  • Buyback Strategy: Revenue generated from GPU workloads (paid in USDC) is utilized to purchase $PLANCK tokens from the open market, aiming to strengthen token demand and value within the staking economy.

Strategic and Financial Backing

Planck Network’s development and growth are supported by a coalition of leading Web3 infrastructure players and investment firms, including:

  • DNA Fund – Founded by early-stage Web3 pioneers

  • GDA Capital – A global digital asset investment and advisory firm

  • DePIN X Capital – Contributor of over $30 million in enterprise-grade GPU infrastructure

  • Rollman Management – Providing over $200 million in infrastructure funding and GPU deployment support

Planck Network’s launch signals a pivotal moment for developers and enterprises looking to build decentralized AI applications at scale, leveraging purpose-built blockchain infrastructure free from the constraints of centralized compute providers.
